A letter from SAK-KNUST SRC President.

KNUST SRC
FEES INCREMENT
UPDATE ON PROGRESS.
(SAK WRITES)
Colleague Students, I bring you greetings from the SRC secretariat, and would want to seize this opportunity to wish you all the best as you prepare for next semester.
I write to bring you updates on our struggle to ensure a reduction in the fees for the 2016/2017 academic year.
As a result oriented and listening SRC, we took the concerns of the students seriously and petitioned the University administration accordingly. I am therefore glad to inform you, with alacrity, that our struggle has yielded some results.
Some disciplines have seen a reduction in their fees. The changes or reductions are as follows:

THE WAY FORWARD
Due to the change in Vice- Chancellors and the transition process associated with it, we have encountered some problems in getting all the work done.
It is however worthy of note that the SRC is still working tirelessly  to secure reductions in the fees of other faculties.  Students will duly be updated with all vital information when the need arises.
Also, the KBN list shall be released as soon as possible for the perusal of beneficiaries and also to alleviate all problems associated with registration due to delays in the disbursement of the KBN FUND.
I thank you sincerely for your patience all this while and ask you to continue supporting me as I work round the clock to exhaust alI measures.I remain your advocate in the struggle for our general welfare. We will continue to fight for students no matter the cost.
Yours In Students' Service,
Samuel Amoako-Kusi
SRC President.
