UCC crowned winners of the 7th mini GUSA Games.

After winning the ultimate  in two consecutive years, the University of Cape Coast has once again been adjudged overall winners of the just ended Mini GUSA Games. This victory has put UCC in a historic position of champions for 3 consecutive years, unprecedented! 

The reigning champions came  into the competition with high sense of optimism and the need to defend the title. After ten days of exciting and intriguing field and track events , admirers  of the mini Gusa games have been enthralled to some entertaining and a keenly contested event. 

 The participation Public universities were  University of Cape Coast (host) , University of Ghana, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, University of Energy and Natural Resources, University for Professional Studies, University of mines and Technology , University of Education- Winniba and University of Development Studies. 

UCC has yet again proven that it is not only know to be a citadel of knowledge but also a mastery of sportsmanship haven won the mini Gusa Games for 3 consecutive years.
At the end of the Competition, UCC emerged overall winners as they came atop with 52 medals. 

Here is the  medal table and positions after the 7th mini GUSA Games.
UCC won with a total of  28 Gold, 19 Silver and 5 bronze . Second placed  UG had 10 Gold,12 Silver and 11 bronze  
UEW came third with 5 gold, 11 Silver and 9 Bronze .
KNUST won 2 Gold ,2 Silver and 5 Bronze to take the fourth spot.
UMAT had  a bronze 
UDS struggle for a Bronze
Both UPSA and UENR had no medal.
KNUST stunned UCC to win the men soccer competition.
