All is set for yet another edition of Africa’s most patronised and career shaping conference dubbed Success Africa. Success Africa is a career development conference held annually under the auspices of LEC Group to provide young and coming graduates, entrepreneurs, businessmen and other participants the prerequisite skills needed to excel in and out of the corporate world.
Since the year 2008, the career coaching conference has been held across some universities in Africa with the recent one in Liberia. Such a conference is well patronised by students, career developers, and entrepreneurs.
As a budding conference in 2008, Success Africa has now grown to become one of Ghana’s best brand if not the best event when it comes to career development and mentorship. It has over the years inspired, motivated and impacted the lives of many people. Having impacted the lives of close to 8000 participants annually, it was not surprising that Albert Kusi -CEO of LEC Group was voted the "10th Most Influential Young Ghanaian” in the recent MIYG awards.
This year’s edition is expected to take place on the 1st, 14th and 22nd October at UCC, KNUST and UG-Legon campus respectively. The theme for the conference is “Scaling New Heights” which will be handled by renowned speakers from different backgrounds of banking, entrepreneurship, and so on. Speakers who are expected to grace the much anticipated event include but not limited to Rev. Sam Korankye-Ankrah (General Overseer – Royal House Chapel), Majid Michel (Actor), Jesse Agyepong (Head of Marketing, TIGO), and Gillian Hammah (Chief Marketing Officer, Databank Group).
In an interview with Piesie Godfred-UCC Times' Editor, Mr. Albert Kusi reveal that, much has been done to see to it that this year’s conference takes place successfully as expected. He further added that, this year’s edition has more exciting and fascinating sessions to make it more educative, interactive and thrilling. “This year’s edition promises to be one of a kind. We would launch the student entrepreneurship challenge of which student entrepreneurs who have already started their business would be supported with an undisclosed amount of money to take their business to the next level.” He added.
Participants and volunteers from previously held conferences admit that Success Africa is indeed one of the many conferences geared towards bridging the generational disparity between lecture theaters, classrooms and the job market which is a bane in the lives of many young people in Ghana and our part of the world. They therefore expect nothing but an educative, awesome and life transforming conference once again. Undeniably, it is a conferences for starters, budding enterprises, and individuals with laudable business ideas that need guidance by experts from active fields.
