After a very successful event (Making It Happen Conference) hosted by “Its Well Consult” (IWC) in October 2015, numerous of other educative programs, seminars and lectures have been organized to develop students capacity and prepare them for the corporate world.
It is rather
unfortunate that upon series of programmes, side by side with academic toil in
our tertiary institutions, graduates still find themselves in associations like
Graduate Unemployment Association of Ghana and the likes due to the rapid growth of youth
unemployment in our beloved country. This sounds obstructive in anyways. But
the rib-tickling aspect of the matter is that, these associations have executives yet are
not ready to initiate ideologies to start up any venture to their own
advantage.
IWC delve into this
issue which is eating up potential entrepreneurs to save tertiary students from
falling prey to the rapid growth of Youth Unemployment in Ghana.
“Entrepreneurship is the last refuge of the trouble making individual”-Natalie
Clifford Barney. Elliott Bisnow also
believed that entrepreneurship drives everything: job creation, poverty
alleviation and innovation. American
Businessman Nicky Oppenheirner said “America is a country of entrepreneurship
and great business leaders. IWC on the other hand believe the fact that, Ghana
will be great if chances are given to entrepreneurship to mould tertiary
students in business creation, innovation and getting rid of youth
unemployment.
In this
regard, the introduction of “StudEntrepreneurship
START-UP CHALLENGE” is to re-energise the spirit of entrepreneurship in our
tertiary institutions to build the New World Order-Entrepreneurship. This program
is a new facet under the umbrella of IWC as a package to mould potential
entrepreneurs and raising business tycoons. Do you have a brilliant idea? Or
already have a start-up? This is your chance to participate and win big at “StudEntrepreneurship START-UP CHALLENGE”
2017 to be held at Auditorium 900, UCC on February 25, 2017. Registration
ends December 31, 2016.
